by Winchester, sets the barrel, machined from a solid round bar.
The barrel and undercarriage have a durable electro-coated finish,
and the breach closure is hardened black.
This cannon was first offered in Winchester’s 1903 catalog
as Model 98 Breech Loading Cannon.

with polished highlighting.  The breech closure is hand polished
to high luster.

Winchester originally offered its Chrome Signal Cannon
with rubber “balloon” tires during the 1930's and later
offered a model with treaded Firestone tires. 
The model shown represents the latter, which was sold until 1958.

Each 2 -7/8 inch shell is loaded with 8 drams (.5 oz) of black powder
that produces a loud report and a brilliant cloud of white smoke.
The plastic & brass hulls ensure maximum compatibility with the
extractor & breech on the Winchester Cannons. 

The mahogany display base is the perfect way to display your
Winchester Cannon. It makes an excellent addition when presenting
the Winchester Cannon as an award, trophy or gift.
The 9 3/4" x 18"  base will fit the Brass and Chrome Winchester
